Who We Are
Thehealthline.ca Information Network is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping consumers and providers navigate the complex healthcare system, so that people get the care they need, when and where they need it. In 2016 we celebrated the fifteenth anniversary of launching our flagship service, www.thehealthline.ca.
Beginning as a London and region database of health and social services, thehealthline.ca has grown to encompass service records covering all of Ontario. Today there are more than 45,000 service profiles representing 26,000 health and social service organizations. Thehealthline.ca consists of 14 regional web sites aligned with the borders of Ontario’s Local Health Integration Networks and one provincial portal. For a full list of our projects and collaborations, visit: http://informationnetwork.thehealthline.ca/14/Collaborations/
The Network has succeeded by being creative, flexible, and collaborative. We are innovators in data collection, maintenance and sharing. Our funding results from a number of public sector contracts and totals nearly 1.8M annually.
